B my Lake Festival also known as the „Mecca of electronic music”, takes place to round off the summer with a boom. Since its debut in 2013, B my Lake has become one of Hungary’s most popular festival and the #1 summer destination for the lovers of electronic music.
Thanks to its popularity, forward-thinking approach and exciting programs B my Lake, right in its first year, had won the award for „Best New European Festival” in the prestigious European Festival Awards. No wonder it had, as the organizers (VOLT – and Deadcode Production) managed to create a somewhat niche, but immensely demanded line-up each year.
The electronic music festival, that’s coming back for a sixth time at the end of August, will be held at Keszthely, a brand new location of Lake Balaton.
B my Lake is returning in 2018 to bring electronic music lovers the very best of the festival’s original concept at a fantastic lakeside location: get ready to close the summer with 4 days of music on 4 uniquely designed stages with the best of the best: Richie Hawtin, Marco Carola, Maceo Plex, Tale of us, Amelie Lens, Dubfire b2b Chris Liebing, Marcel Dettmann, Kollektiv Turmstrasse, Sasha Carassi, Matador, Sam Paganini, John Digweed, Charlotte de Witte and more!
Keszthely is located merely 65km’s away from last year’s location, Zamárdi. It is easily accessible by car and train, not to mention that it offers significantly more accommodation options for festival lovers, including on-site bungalows and cabins.
B my Lake opens its gates on 22 August 2018 and brings you the biggest and most influential acts in contemporary techno, tech-house, minimal and house music, supported by unique visual and sound elements. Despite the immense demand for the festival, it will be preserving its „boutique” features that made it so popular since its first edition.
