How long are tickets valid for?

  • Day 0. ( 23 August): You may enter the festival from 14.00 until 6am the following morning, the ticket is valid until 8am the following morning.
  • Day 1. (24 August): You may enter the festival from 8am until 6am the following morning, the ticket is valid until 8am the following morning.
  • Day 2 (25 August): You may enter the festival from 8am until 6am the following morning, the ticket is valid until 8am the following morning.
  • Day 3 (26 August): You may enter the festival from 8am until 6am the following morning, the ticket is valid until 7am the following morning.
  • B my Lake 4-day Pass: B my Lake Passes are valid from 2pm on 23rd August 2017 until the end of the event. If your wristband is damaged/voided or in any way invalid you will be required to leave the festival site.
  • B my Lake BeachFront Camping Ticket: The B my Lake Camping Ticket allows you to enter and stay within the Camping site during the event, from 09.00 on Day 0. (23rd August). The Camping Ticket is valid during the entire event, it only needs to be purchased once. The Camping Ticket only entitles you to enter and stay within the Camping site with a valid Day Ticket or B my Lake 4-day Pass.

Can I buy tickets on the site?

Sure you can, in any of our ticket offices by 24 hours a day.

Can I pay by card for the tickets on the site?

Yes, you can pay by card at designated ticket booths on the festival site.

Can I return my ticket?

Please note that tickets are non-refundable.

Can registered tickets be passed to someone else?

Tickets are not assigned, so transferable.

What does the VIP package include?

Enjoy the Main Stage (B Stage) shows from the VIP Grand Stand VIP Area with a separate bar & lounge.

What can I do if I leave my tickets at home?

If you leave the voucher that you purchased through the official website at home, you can turn to the staff in the „Problem Tickets”, located at the entrance, who will try to identify your purchase through our online system. Unfortunately, if you didn’t buy your ticket online, or via other websites, we will not be able to solve your problem and you will have to go home for it.

General Information

When does the festival start?

Gates open at 14.00 on 23rd August 2017. Camping facilities are available from 9am at same day.

When does the festival end?

The B my Lake Festival ends on the morning of 27th August. The site should be vacated by 1pm.

Cash or credit card accepted?

Since cash won’t be accepted at any pub, restaurant or merchant you will be able to buy all products offered inside the B my Lake Festival area with your Festivalcard (FestiPay). You can receive your card when entering the festival for a deposit of 500 Ft (1,6 €). If you return your card undamaged you will get your deposit back. The minimum balance of a new card is 1000 Ft (3,5€).

Can I take photos at the festival?

There are no restrictions regarding non-professional photography, but to be entitled to take photos of live acts and other events you will require written permission from the organizers. Representatives of the media who wish to take such photos should inquire at info@bmylake.hu to receive their press accreditations

Where can I find the first aid facility?

It is indicated on the map (coming soon). If you can’t find it, ask the security guards or our staff at the information desk. We would like to ask you to take care of yourselves and each other. We recommend you to refresh yourselves with lots of alcohol-free drinks, apply suntan lotion to yourselves liberally and wear caps. In case you feel unwell, please approach the medical staff.

Who can I ask in case I need help?

You can get help from the B my Lake security service or from our staff members at the information desk.

What should I do if I lose or find something?

We collect lost property at the information desk (INFO in front of the Main Entrance), so if you find something please place it there. You can also try to find your missing items there. Lost property items will be kept until 21st September.
There are left luggage lockers on the site of the festival, which we recommend you to use as we do not take responsibility for luggage items left anywhere else.

What can i not take in

What am I not allowed to take into the festival?

It is forbidden to take in sharp-edged and pointed objects, hammers, umbrellas and any other potentially harmful objects, these will all have to be left at the entrance. According to the Hungarian Law you may not keep knives with blades longer than 8 cm, pepper spray, etc. in your possession. It is considered a misdemeanor.

Important:

Visitors are not allowed to take in alcohol, in any quantities into the site of the event. In case of an excessive heat warning by the National Public Health and Medical Officer service, non-alcoholic drinks may be taken into the site of the event in unlimited quantities. Otherwise 1 plastic bottle (of any volume) of water or soft drink can be taken into the site of the event. Visitors are not allowed to bring food or tobacco products in commercial quantities into the site of the event.
A maximum of 10 packs of cigarettes, 10 packs of cigarillos and (regardless of their size) 10 cigars may be taken into the site of the event.

Can I bring in dog, cat or turtle?

Yes, if you have their inoculation certificates with you, as well as a leash and a muzzle for dogs. Ask for a band at the entrance on to which you can write your contact details in case they should go astray. However, due to the big crowd and noise we do not recommend you to take your pets.

Accommodation

How can I camp on the festival site?

Choose the B my Lake BeachFront Camping, so you stay the closest to the festival area.
The hotels and apartments are located in Zamárdi or in the neighboring cities, but you can easily locate the festival with a transfer bus.

If you wish to stay in a tent on the BeachFront Camping firstly you should buy a camping registration. Buying the ticket guarantees that you will be able to pitch your tent on the campsite. You can only enter the B my Lake campsite with a camping registration and a valid B my Lake wristband.
The BeachFront camping registration costs a one-off fee of 20 €/person/4 days regardless of the number of days you want to camp.

What are the hygienic conditions (showers, toilets)?

There are multiple places (mobile container units) on the campsite for showering where men and women bathe separately. We kindly ask you to look after the showers and only use them for the necessary amount of time so that other people can have enough time to wash themselves, too. You can find both so-called bio toilets (mobile toilets) and container toilets on the site, which are regularly cleaned and checked, but we ask you to keep them clean, too.

Can I rent a tent?

Can I rent a hotel room near to the festival site?

If you are planning to rent a comfortable room for the festival, it’s time to start looking around Zamárdi now! F.e.: www.booking.com or our accommodation booker site is updated daily, but don’t leave it until the last minute, because the best places, near the festival, will be gone soon!

If you only manage to book a place in Siófok, don’t worry, there will be a Siófok-B.my.Lake transfer.

What is the exact location of the Festival?

Zamárdi is situated 110 km from Budapest (Lake Balaton).
You will find the site of the festival on the area of Zamárdi/Szabadstrand

How do I get to Zamárdi?

Arriving by plane

Planes in Hungary arrive at Liszt Ferenc Airport (BUD). From the airport you can easily get to Budapest Downtown by Airport Bus.
(30 min) Than use train or bus (find infos below)

Arriving by train

Trains in Hungary can arrive at any of the three major train stations in Budapest: Nyugati Pályaudvar, Keleti Pályaudvar, Déli Pályudvar. All of them are in the center of Budapest, so you can easily reach any other transportation type from where you can continue your trip to B my Lake (Zamárdi).
The journey time is between 2 and 3 hours depending on the particular train taken.

Arriving by bus

International buses in Hungary usually arrive at Népliget Coach Terminal. If you want to continue your trip by bus, you don’t need to use the public transportation, because buses depart from Népliget Coach Terminal in the direction of Zamárdi. How do I get to the Festival from Siófok?

By our bus transfer service. This transfer service gives you the chance to easily reach B.my.Lake from Siófok, or arrange your way back to the center of the city. You can catch our buses in ever y singe hour, during the day and night time. Timetable is coming soon

Am I allowed to enter the festival by car or by motorbike?

We’re sorry, you’re not. But there are parking areas just a 20-30 minutes walk from the Main Entrance of the Festival.

Where can I park - is there a secure car park?

Parking is free and secured in the official parking areas.

Is there…?

A left-luggage facility?

Yes, it will be marked on the map.

A phone charger?

Yes, you will find a recharger point on the festival.

Warm food?

Yes, you can choose from a wide variety of food this year : frill, fish, salads, hamburger, pasta, hot dog, pizza, pancake and Hungarian dishes.

A food shop?

Yes, you will find a mini market in the camping area.

An ATM?

No, there isn’t ATM machine in the festival area.

Locker for bicycle container?

There is no bicycle container on the site.

Showers//toilets?

There are multiple places (mobile container units) on the campsite for showering where men and women bathe separately. We kindly ask you to look after the showers and only use them for the necessary amount of time so that other people can have enough time to wash themselves, too. You can find both so-called bio toilets (mobile toilets) and container toilets on the site, which are regularly cleaned and checked, but we ask you to keep them clean, too. We kindly ask you not to use trees, bushes and green areas as toilets.

Cashless payment?

At B.my.Lake Festival you can enjoy a cashless system, when it comes to paying for anything - starting from your drinks, food, merch items, anything! You can either use your contactless cards as your contactless Mastercard® or Maestro® or you can also get a Festipay card, the cashless payment service! Lost & Found?

We collect lost stuff at the Main Information Point in front of the Festival Entrance, so if you lose anything this should be your first place to ask and if you find anything we would appreciate if you could leave it with our staff at the information point.

First Aid?

There is a First Aid on the festival site (near the festival entrance). We would like to ask you to take care of yourselves and each other. We recommend you to refresh yourselves with lots of alcohol-free drinks, apply suntan lotion to yourselves liberally and wear caps. In case you feel unwell, please approach the medical staff.

Left-luggage and Locker?

There will be two left-luggage terminals in front of the festival entrance and in the camping. You can leave your most important belongings here! The left-luggage terminals are open from the festival opening time. Using the left-luggage terminal is 500 Ft / occasion

Lockers

Use small guarded lockers and make sure you keep your most precious valuables as safe as possible. Find lockers in front of the festival entrance. Fee: 500 Ft / occasion

Don’t forget!

  • Your ticket!
  • Waterproof tent, sleeping bag, mat tress, torch and batteries
  • Closed shoes, sandals
  • Hygienic accessories, towel, germ-killer, medication you need to take regularly, detergent
  • Cap, sunglasses, rain jacket, warm clothes, socks, bathing suit
  • Sun tan lotion, crème against mosquitoes and ticks

Useful Tips

Check out these tips and information collected for you! The organizers wish you all a pleasant and safe stay at the festival!

Alcohol, cigarettes & drugs:

We kindly ask you to drink reasonable amounts of alcohol and smoke reasonable amounts of cigarettes and to refrain from using drugs at all. In the bars, intoxicated guests and visitors under the age of 18 cannot be served with any alcoholic beverages. Important: consumption of narcotics is strictly forbidden according to prevailing laws.

Look after each other:

Look out for your friends. If anyone feels dizzy, sick, weak or has problems with his vision please contact the medical staff immediately. Protect yourself against the sun, eat and rest as much as you can, drink a lot of non-alcoholic beverages and wash your hands regularly! Drink alcohol with care to avoid accidents occurring out of drunkenness. Don’t use any drugs and use appropriate protection when having sex. Take care of yourself and look after others as well! Please note that organizers do not take responsibility for possible damages occurring in persons or valuables.

Sunny Days:

It is important for you to be equipped with some sort of sun protection. Please use sun tan lotions regularly, wear a shirt and a cap to avoid sunstroke. It is important for you to drink a lot of water!

Medications:

If you have to take medication regularly please bring a sufficient amount of it with you.

Valuables:

Please only bring the most necessary items with you for your festival stay at the campsite. If possible leave your valuables at home. For the valuables brought with you please feel free to use our safe lockers. Please keep your personal papers on you at all time and look after them. We kindly ask you to hand down any items you find at the Info Point, you can also look for your lost items here.

Pretty nature:

Protect the nature. Look out for trees, avoid littering and collect your garbage selectively. We kindly ask you not to use trees, bushes and green areas as toilets.

Food issues:

It is very important that you don’t store any food in your tents.

Contact lenses:

For sanitary reasons we advise our visitors wearing contact lenses to use glasses instead while attending the festival, they are easier to handle and keep clean.

Bodysurf:

For safety reasons it is strictly forbidden to bodysurf! Anybody disregarding this can be pulled out of the crowd and if necessary ultimately banned from the festival area.

Noise:

In order to protect your hearing we ask you to use earplugs when standing close to the stage.

Accident & crime:

In case of an accident or if someone gets hurt please contact the staff immediately and ask them for help. It is very important that you don’t call the ambulance right away, if necessary our staff will do so. Emergency care is free of charge within the festival area. If you are witness or victim of any crime or you feel like you need help feel free to contact any member of the security staff.

Extreme weather conditions:

Outdoor events can always be affected by extreme weather conditions. Our crew is constantly in contact with the National Meteorological Service (OMSZ), in case of any weather related emergencies we will alert you in time. The organizers provide you with up to date information about the weather on all our info platforms. This is where you can get information about a possible UV alert, summer-heat alert or the situation of the pollen concentration. If the upcoming day is likely to be stormy and windy the organizers will inform you about that. It is important that you are prepared in advance for situations like this: secure your tent, place your belongings into safety and prepare the appropriate clothes. In case of a storm try to stay away from tall trees and electrical devices and rather stay at open space. In case of strong wind for safety reasons program venue tents might get evacuated, we ask you to leave the venues if you are warned about this.



In addition make sure you have a raincoat, just in case. Please note that the event will be held in case of bad wather as well, but hope for the best :)
